Nashwa Farms provides top-quality horse boarding services.
Our experienced team of professionals is dedicated to providing the best care for your horse.
Our Retirement Program began shaped around a special senior horse of ours. He was a family's Pro Rodeo calf horse then was McKenzie's horse she learned to breakaway rope on in Junior High. He then was retired and turned out onto our property with the cows. (He began to think he was a cow!) We decided to begin a program for other seniors like him that deserved to live the good life until it's time to cross into greener pastures.
He has welcomed many friends and began this beautiful option for horses like himself!

At Nashwa Farms Horse Boarding, we believe in providing individualized care for each horse and their unique needs. Our team is dedicated to ensuring the health and happiness of your equine companion.
We are experienced in many different breeds, health needs, rehab programs, etc. and work closely with vets to ensure every horse thrives to the best of their ability.

Getting Settled In
All new horses are slowly introduced into the pastures and/or herds. We have perfected a process of finding where a horse thrives best at by letting them show us. :) We listen to every horse and their specific wants and needs to base our game plan around them. Owner's insight on their horses is very important to us as we enjoy and base our program around getting to know them as well as we can. We have a personal relationship with each and every horse!
Crossing to Greener Pastures
When it does come time for our special friends to cross into greener pastures, we do have a perfected process for this as well.
Quality of Life and Ability to Thrive are the number one thing we always look out for!
We work closely with Central Arizona Equine for any veterinary assistance here at the farm and then Greener Pastures Horse Burial for the final steps.
Burial or Cremation are available to be arranged for all clients & hair can be gathered and saved for your keepsake. We make the process seamless to aid in the hard goodbyes!
